Kim Jarvis is a landscape painter working in oils. Her oil paintings of land and seascapes have been recently exhibited by the Royal West of England Academy of Art and the Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition at London’s Mall Galleries.

Jarvis came to Coolgrey because she wanted a simple, minimalist website design which presented her work without distractions. We developed a responsive gallery page that displays thumbnail images of her work correctly proportioned in columns with equal spacing. The images resize to fit smaller browser windows and reflow to a single column on smaller phone and tablet displays. Full screen images are shown using a lightbox display.

Having postponed a website redesign for 2 years, and after exhaustive research I found Coolgrey Design. I liked the styles of websites they had produced and began working with them on a new one to showcase my paintings. The ingenuity and visual beauty of the proposal was exactly what I was after. I now have a simple to navigate, eye-popping website which has brought many new admirers, both for my work and that of Coolgrey Design. I would thoroughly recommend them.
